Story of Dreams Project

Dreams Project is an idea and initiative of Jurjen Hemmen. After years of gaining a little stage experience and a lot of composing music, the time had come at the end of 2023 to take making and producing music more seriously.

By placing an advertisement on Muzikantenbank.net I came into contact with, among others, singer Djura, with whom I worked for a few months to record the song Seventh Day. This single will be released on February 18, 2024 on the various streaming services and stores.This is not the first single, as the ambient and proggy instrumental track Flying Pt. I was published on 9 February 2024.

Right now I'm working on a mini Album (No title yet - b.t.w.... that is a nice title :)) with e.g Flying Pt. II and some other songs in different styles, some with lyrics.

I find it difficult to describe my style of music. Inspiration comes from a wide range of tastes and styles. Think of Ambient, Prog, Smooth Jazz, but it also contains classically inspired sections. As Dreams Project I am also looking for collaborations with other musicians, such as singers, horns, flutes, guitarists etc.

With my music I hope to create a positive atmosphere for the listener. But also a challenge when listening.
